Home chores

Posted on 18 February 2012 by Tea Server

So the endless list of achievements continues today too. My entire family is asleep. I being the owl of the house is up, not because its something I like to do but something that I have to do.

Home chores are always annoying. Period. There is no question about that. But sometimes you need something to accompany you while you are up till 2 AM at night. Let it be your bugging girlfriend or your pending assignments of school, either way you are the one who suffers the most. So coming back to the topic, did you ever imagine staying up so anticipated for filling up your water tanker when everybody else has no clue of what is happening in the world? Well sounds cool doesn’t it :)

Take it this way. While waiting for the taps to get immersed in water, you learn so much just by staring at the clock. The uncertainty of water supply teaches you surprising events that can happen in your life and you need to keep your eyes and ears open to welcome all such events in your life. The sounds of your neighbors coming out of their homes for the same purpose makes you an active listener. The time when you hit the machine and boom the successful water supply makes your eyes teary that after 30 minutes of this water flow, you will hit the bed and sleep like never before. The joy of your family saying good flowery words about you in your absence would make you feel like flying. :) Its all in the imagination. Its all in the head but being a creative being alive on earth, its our job to make it sound like a piece of cake and let the world know about our small victories that we manage to encounter without many resources. Little moments of joy can teach you a lot about life. We just need to have an eye to look at things that way.

Spread the late night love! Lol. :)

Blessings. Peace Out!

This Spring——-!

Posted on 15 January 2012 by Tea Server

This spring is lost in some gloom

The colors, foliage and flowers

What are these pinpointing to?

Singing glum on air’s rhythm

The dreamy moments that lost

Drained; slept inside the eyes

 Fragrance of those dreamy moments

I’ve seen their dew on every flower

Few moments of spirit’s harmony

Incredible few cherished moments

Smiling joyfully in my imagination

I am sure the season of Spring

Was never so beautiful ever

10 Things A Girl Should Do in 2012

Posted on 03 January 2012 by Tea Server

2012 is here and a chance for every girl to move on with a fresh mind and a positive attitude, a new year is every men’s birthday. So girls, leave your past behind, the best is yet to come in your way. Here are 10 things which every girl must do in 2012. Check them out.
25 New Year Quotes

1. Sleep Well
You mind needs as much rest as your body does. You don’t want Prince Charming to see those awful dark circles when he finally comes courting. Sounds like Avril Lavigne gone clumsy with her eye make up. Trust me, you don’t want to look that, unless what you attain is something as perfect as how Avril really does it.

2. Know a Female Role Model’s Life Story
There are so many wonderful women out there who made life as easy as it is for us today. We take something for granted that was once considered unimaginable. “Women, equal to men?” They would laugh and even the weaker of the female sex shuddered at the thought. Women have come a long way. Pick up a personality that appeals to you and read her life story. An occasional look into some historical figure biography is a treasure trove of life lessons.
Marilyn Monroe Quotes
3. Set Goals
The age old principle of living a healthy, constructive life. Don’t take this for granted! Are your goals aligned with your life’s current flow? What skills do you require in attaining those goals? How do they benefit you and those around you? Are they still practical? How would you define them as something tangible as of now? Ask yourself these basic questions when defining them. Goals, objectives, aiming high towards them all play a vital role in building our self confidence. Do not take making new year resolutions as a chore or as plain fun. See it as a thought process that continuously mirrors all your efforts and see yourself as someone better than last year.

4. Sort Out Priorities
Goals and priorities go hand in hand. Do not expect a goal to quench your thirst for inner satisfaction if it does not fall somewhere around your priority list. Once you have some goals to work on, sort them out according to how and why they add something to your life. This step is a must do for every girl who wants to live a constructive life. Revise your priorties frequently and see if they are still aligned with how your life is carrying on.

5. Read More Books
I’m not talking about e-books here, please. I mean that old, traditional style of reading books tucked under a warm blanket by the fire. Books demand respect. They love to be sought, held, taken in word by word, adorned, and sometimes, read over and over. Old books with edges turned brown and page turned yellow with age are more the delight. Set a target to achive this year when it comes to book reading and give it your best shot. Oh, and make sure what you read is worth your time and attention.

6. Listen to Dance Music
Sure we’ve all had one particular song that brings out sad memories. They sat, sadness is beautiful, so you end up listening to that musical reminder of your woes over and over. Enough. Make a new playlist. Delete the old. Listen to dance music, smile if it makes you, laughing is even better. Don’t be shy if you want to get up and start moving. Dance like no one’s watching! This year is going to be yours!

7. Soul Searching
What’s with everyone so super busy with today’s grinding life that constitute of only work, work and more work? This year, set aside some time exclusively for you. Just when you think every thing is going a little too fast, see that as a signal from your brain that tells you you’re getting short of a leisurely “Me” time. Do some soul searching. We’ve forgotten how good that feels.

8. Weight Loss
That’s, like, nothing new dude. It’s something we girls are eternally putting our efforts into. This year, be firm about it. That’s where all the difference lies. Turn your intangible dreams about being size zero into something more attainable and practical like knowing what size actually suits you and what you’re comfortable in. Not every one looks good in that skinny, tall rail image of fashion models. This year, works on a look that seems tailor made just for you. Remember, looking comfortable in your skin is more attractive than looking like a distant diva right off the ramp. [More on Weight Loss]

9. Be the Author of Your Own Story
Like they say, have a plan for yourself because if you let yourself be a part of someone else’s story, chances are they might not really have a plan for you. At the end of this wonderous life, when you’ll look back at what you achieved and what you lost, decisions and choices you made throughout your life will show you the person you have become over the years. Make sure no one else but you is the author of your story. If you’re still a little on this pointer, it isn’t too late. Hold the reins of your life in your hands, so whatever happens in the end, you know it was your choice and that should comfort you alone. If the decisions require you to be bold, step up, be brave. It’s just a test, perhaps.

10. Be You
Faking never comes natural to anyone. The best people you come by are the ones you find are honest and genuine. No one fills your shoes better than yourself. Whatever the color of your skin, however the shape of your body or features, you’re a beauty like none other. God carved you with His Hands. How can you be anything but beautiful, then? This year, make a resolution to be YOU. Whatever you achieve this year, carry your own self with it, proudly and graciously. You’re the best, honey!
so make you 2012 awesome by following these 10 rules, do crazy stuff and don’t forget to have fun. Happy 2012!

Post Accident Syndrome

Posted on 20 December 2011 by Tea Server

A teacher of one of my courses always emphasizes on this one bitter factor of life that “Seeing is believing”. Until I happened to be in an accident myself, I never realized how one feels when he or she goes through the traumatic experience of life. I think its pointless to talk about what happened but here are a few tips for those who have been through such incidents or GOD forbid happen to experience them in future.

1. NEVER update your facebook status or twitter or inform people about your accident by any means of social media. This just creates a lot of panic on your profile and if you end up not answering people’s queries and you don’t tell them the whole story, people start considering you rude. Some of them might be nice enough not to bug you but most of them would.

2. Make a joke out of your incident while telling everyone. I know its hard but that is what I ended up doing and people thought I was cranky. Let them think that way. But this will help you get out of the trauma you are in.

3. Cry! YES! Shed tears if you want. Get as much frustrated as you want to. Just let all the anger, pain, anxiety and everything out from your inner being. Don’t let it bother you my friend. Ever in your life.

4. Eat well! Yes the haldi wala doodh that mum gives you, The Naryal pani, the medicines, all the edible items that you can find in your fridge. Just eaaaat them good. Instant energy and muscular recovery is always needed after accidents and that is the reason why all these edible items are recommended.

5. REST! Don’t be the owl of the night after having an accident. Take a day off or so from everything and just sleep for the entire day. This way you will be able to achieve good peace of mind in short time.

Trust me, its one of those situations in which I can proudly say, Been there, Done that :D . But yeah I pray for everyone that ,may GOD save us all from any such incidents and if we happen to experience some, may HE gives the courage to fight back with them.

Spread the love! Accidentally in love :)

1. Water
Water plays an important role in keeping skin soft and alive. So, it is very important to drink plenty of water in winter. Staying hydrated keeps skin cells healthy and plump while helping transport nutrients to cells.

2. Moisturizer
Apply moisturizer as soon as you get out of shower. Good quality moisturizers and cold creams are a must in winters. Moisturizer which has oil will help protect your skin from moisture loss. They work great against wounds, cuts and burns.

3. Lip Care
Don’t forget to protect your lips in this season. Use of a good lip balm or petroleum jelly is also important to get rid of chapped lips during cold weather. Maintain moisture in lips by regularly applying lip balm. Choose one that will not dry your lips easily and also offers natural tone.

4. Sunscreen
Just like summer, sunscreen is a must in winter too. Don’t throw your sunscreen just because summer is over. It is also important to apply sunscreen before going to outside. Cover your face, hands and other parts of body with a sunscreen lotion with SPF 15.

5. Exercise
Never leave your daily fitness routine for this cold and dry season. Regular exercise keeps body fit, healthy and also stimulates blood circulation in skin. Be sure to wear warm clothes if you are going for any outdoor activity.

6. Balanced Diet
Whether it is winter or summer, consuming balanced diet is very essential. A balanced winter diet includes fresh fruits, nuts, fish, oils, fruit, green vegetables and lots of water that is fruitful in cold days. Minerals, proteins, vitamins and other necessary nutrients from fruits and vegetables maintain a healthy glow on skin during winter.

7. Sleep
Along with necessary beauty products, it is equally important to take a good night sleep for a healthy skin as well as life. If you fail to get a good night’s sleep, first place to show it, will be on skin. It is recommended that you should get at least seven hours of rest a night.

With above mentioned skin care tips, you can make your skin glowing, soft and healthy in winters as well. Share your ideas if you can add anything in the above tips. Happy Winters!
