Telenor Pakistan, Tameer Microfinance Bank and easypaisa to provide money transfer services to more than 3 lack pensioners registered with Employees Old-Aged Benefits Institution (EOBI), through their nationwide branchless banking network.
This new project will facilitate 0.3 million pensioners of EOBI who will now collect their pensions from Easypaisa outlets.
Easypaisa is a fastest mobile-banking service in Pakistan with an average Rs 1.6 billion are transacted every month between individuals through its branchless banking system.
How To Register to Receive your Pension Through EasyPaisa ?
- The process is given below in English and Urdu Languages:
- Get your Last Payment Certificate (LPC) from nearest branch of National Bank Of Pakistan (NBP).
- Get your Pension Payment Order (PPO) from nearest EOBI office.
- Go to Telenor Franchise, Telenor Sales & Service Center or Branch of Tameer Bank (any one of them) with you original CNIC, Pension Book and PPO to register yourself with EasyPaisa to receive your pension.
- After Registration you can receive your Pension anywhere any time from more than 13,000 easypaisa Outlets in Pakistan.
