Morning Shows

Posted on 06 March 2012 by Tea Server

It’s amazing how the morning shows have become an essential
part of almost all the TV channels today. Hosted by the renowned actors and
actresses, the ratings of these shows are ramping up every day. Many actors and
actress are hosting morning show now a day. Some morning show hosts are decent
and present show in decent way and some hosts are over confident and present
show as one man show.
People are crazy to see that
morning shows. Mostly morning shows are of three hour duration and women
especially housewives are biggest crazy fans of these morning shows. Morning
shows are source of information and also makes people knowledge up to date by
showing latest trends of fashion. Morning shows has different segments like
cooking segment, astrologist segment etc. But ever asked, what is the divine
purpose behind these morning shows? The answer may be that TV channels have
successfully found an enthralling way to fill in their morning slot. At time of
PTV there is no concept of morning shows that currently channel showing in
morning.PTV morning shows was very decent and informative.
Morning shows are designed for
females (housewives) because in morning they are free and morning shows are
source of entertainment. In morning shows celebrities, writers, artists, sports
stars, athletes, politicians; almost everyone and anyone is invited. Then the
hosts ask silly questions especially tailored to suit the intellect of the
target audience and hence are quite popular among the female viewers.
Interestingly, dermatologists, hairstylists, cooks, psychologists and even
palmists are invited to offer a complete program platter to the viewers. Live
calls are made to get answers for personal queries and people ask questions
from quests. Hosts swirl and dance with the star guests. However, the most
attractive part for females is definitely the clothes, make up and jewelry of
the host and guests. Social media networking website fan pages are created and
people write there or send emails to that specific show and ask questions.
All
these morning shows promote vanity and show off.  Encourage people to showcase their wealth,
become a part of the race of expensive clothing, shoes and jewelry. Morning
shows are also promoting culture of show off. Celebratiy and hosts gossips are
source of entertainment for people. Each morning show theme is same but
different is of hosts and way of hosting. Some morning shows are really very
good and informative and some are just to promote show off culture. Channels
are increasing their viewership through these morning shows. Media has strong
impact on life of people so quality shows will make positive impact.

Humsafar

Posted on 04 March 2012 by Tea Server

Humsafar fever….people was suffering for this disease for
last few months. Everyone gossip starts with Humsafar and ends with Humsafar.
Saturday is Humsafar day, at night 8 pm to 9 pm Humsafar crazy fever was at
peak. Girls and housewifes watch Humsafar with full attention and males are
also crazy of Humsafar. Mothers don’t prepare dinner until Humsafar ends. Girl
friends/ wives ignore their real Humsafar and watch Humsafar. Many comics and
funny pictures about Humsafar fever was posted on different social media
networking websites. People canceled functions and events even they missed
Pakistan Cricket matches for Humsafar.
Cast and team of Humsafar were awesome.
Every one puts full effort in Humsafar. Story and dialogues of Humsafar is good
and all actors performed their roles as they are facing these problems in real.
Director Sarmat did excellent work. Writer, producer and all crew members
perform their job in good way. In 1990’s few PTV dramas like Tanhayian, Dhoop Kinare
and few more dramas got popularity and people love to watch them today.
Humsafar broke all previous records of popularity. Humsafar is not famous in
people of Pakistan as well it is also famous outside Pakistan.
People are crazy
of Humsafar. Humsafar story is light and its story from one of us. The story of
Humsafar happens in real; it’s a story of our society. Lot of reasons behind
success of Humsafar; one reason is its title track heart touchy lyrics and it’s
beautifully sung by Qurat-ul-lin Baloch. Ashar (Fawad Khan) and khirad (Mahira
khan) couple chemistry was really good and couple is liked by everyone. Sara is
performed nice negative role. Fareeda anti (Atiqa Odho) charcter due to her all
twists and up and down in drama. Way of presenting story is different and in
good way.
One woman can be enemy of other woman. When you take decision think
about it how your decision impact on life’s of others and listen to everyone
who are involved in that decision and make decision neutrally no biasness. One wrong
decision may lead to regret forever.
Wo humsafar thaa magar us sey
humnawai na thi

Sukoon barbaad hogaya mera

Posted on 08 December 2011 by Tea Server

My day is going bad. Not in a bad things are happening way, but in an I-didn’t-expect-this-to-happen way. Some days you’re just longing for the comfort of familiarity and life decides to shift into ultra bitch mode.

Remember that awesome little office I had all to myself? Yeah, it’s gone. I shouldn’t be pissed since I knew it was going to be taken away from me sooner or later but with it came a lot of comforts which sadly I’ll be giving up. Or. Have already given up.

I had to vacate it for the new GM Marketing. Which is awesome because, you know. It’s awesome just in case he’s reading this.

My secluded little corner offered me enough privacy to sip on orange juice all day. It gave me enough privacy to twitter away. It gave me enough privacy to plug in my earphones to the computer and listen to ‘Kollaveri Di’ without anyone judging me.

I’m reduced to an office chair and a shared PC with Arbab bhai now. He’s nice enough to let me use his system which is awesome. Also, he’s nice to me over all, which makes this transition easier. I think.

The IT department blocked Wifi to all of our mobile devices. Since my android is pretty useless without the internet, I carried my little worldcall router in my bag everyday and plugged it in without anyone (except a few people) knowing about it. I had to give the device to a coworker so that he connect it since I have been stripped off all sockets that were available to me -__-

AND. I dressed professionally to work every. Single. Frikkin. Day. Collared shirts and pants. I thought today, to welcome the winter, I should dress up in my smexy sweatshirt. After all, I had made enough of an impression on everyone there right? NO.

The GM Marketing has to start work on the day I’m wearing a grey comfy shirt which proudly flashes the words ‘I’m too sexy for my sweatshirt’ on it.

Anyways. I’m done ranting. Kal pehen lungi achay professional kapray.

P.S. He smells really good. The GM. And talks well too. Two signs of an educated person. Smell good and talk good. I’m doing a character assassination of my new boss. How kewlz. No homo sir. No homo. Just a bit of makhan, maybe. IF you ever read this.

KTHXBYE
