Pakistan strenghthens its borders with fresh troops movement
December 26th, 2008With plans to thwart any attack from across the border by the Indian Armed forces, fresh troops have been deployed at the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir and along the international border to protect “vital points” where an insertion or ‘push’ by the enemy is expected.
There has been massive brigade movements to and from all major cities across the country in preparation for any strike against the country any where. Pakistan Air Force is also on high alert with warplanes constantly patrolling the skies and guarding strategic and senstive installations across the country.
While leaders of the both the nations keep stating that there is no possibility of a war at hand, when it comes to India, Pakistan can not afford to be lenient and play cool.

It is being said in news on Pakistani TV channels that India had in fact prepared for a surgical attack. And, that it was firm to carry out the attack(s), but, as they say, it has abandoned its plan on the basis of Pakistan’s warnings “not to launch a strike against it and [that it] vowed to respond to an attack (Source NY Times).”
Surely, tensions have increased in the relationships of both countries and it doesn’t seem to be diffusing in any way.
now Pakistani military stages an attack on Mumbai using Jihadi cover so that they can run away from Waziristan claiming potential Indian military response?, if they continue to fight in Waziristan under American duress causing their own troop casualties and civil strife in their society, this serves as a face saving excuse to exit. There rests the motive. I hope the ‘vacation plan’ they have on the eastern border turns into a nightmare. ISI will pay for slaughtering innocents and claiming collateral damage.
