Tea it down

One for the record books: Alia Sabur

April 24th, 2008

She received a black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 9, has played the clarinet with the Rockland Symphony Orchestra when she was 11, graduated summa cum laude at 14, and is now (at 19) a full time college professor at Konkuk University (Seoul of ROK) in the Department of Advanced Technology Fusion.

Alia Sabur is indeed a name that made its way on April 21, 2008 in to the coveted Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest professor; a record that was held only once previously back in 1717 by a student of renowned physicist Sir Isaac Newton, Collin Maclaurin.

This young wonder of the modern world is currently teaching mathematics and physics at Southern University in New Orleans and will be starting her tenure at Konkuk from next month where she will be teaching physics studies.
